What exactly the Monte-Carlo Masters title means to the world no 1?

With notching the seventh constructive trophy, the top-ranked Spaniard managed the 44th career title, the 19th Masters 1000 level title. Nadal also ended the title drought of this year after losing two consecutive Masters finals to second-ranked Novak Djokovic, at the Sony Ericsson and BNP Paribas Open.

Comparing with last year’s performance of cruising to title with losing just 11 games, Nadal has a more though way this year. The last two matches was thrilling: Andy Murray took one set off him in Saturday's semifinal that lasted nearly three hours; The win against Ferrer went 2 hours, 17 minutes.

But the most important is unprecedented seventh constructive title after a string of though matches and the confidence brought to the king of clay.
