The Serb will move up to No. 2 with a 17-0 and Federer slip to third with an 18-3 mark this season, all three losses against Djokovic.

Djokovic, who has achieved an undefeated situation this year, holds a terrific record of only 12 games lost in eight sets- the fewest games lost in four matches in an ATP 1000 tournament since1990. World No.1 Rafael Nadal, who won Juan Martin del Potro in straight-set 6-4 6-4, will be Djokovic’s next opponent in the final on Sunday.
