Ailing Roddick will descent out of top 10

Defending champion Andy Roddick took out by Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas 6-4 7-6 (4) in the preliminary match at the Sony Ericsson Open Saturday. This lose featured the earliest out since 2002 at the Key Biscayne, where he clinched the title in 2004 and 2010. 8th-ranked Roddick will drop out of top 10, even top 15, the lowest ranking for him since June 10, 2002.

Roddick’s health worsened this week and struggled physically with 3 medical treatment in the second set. The American revealed:

"I had a little trouble breathing out there today. I've had something for a little while but I'm going to have it checked out when I get home,"

"It's deep in the chest,"

"It's not even so much nasally or throat or anything like that. It's just when I laugh, I start sounding like a car trying to start."

Let's pray for American Andy!

In addition, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer both won in straight set and reached the third round.
